FAQ
Got questions? I've got answers.

You can absolutely book a vacation yourself. My value is when you don't want to spend hours researching destinations, comparing resorts and cruise ships, coordinating logistics, or trying to determine which option actually fits your travel style.
I provide personalized recommendations based on your priorities, handle the booking details, help coordinate components such as accommodations, cruises, transfers and experiences, and remain a resource throughout the planning process. Instead of handing you hundreds of options, I narrow them down to the ones that make sense for you.

Online booking sites are designed to show you inventory. I help you determine which option is right for you.
Working with me gives you personalized recommendations, destination and supplier knowledge, help coordinating the different pieces of your vacation, and a real person to contact when questions or unexpected situations arise. For travelers who value their time and want a more personalized planning experience, that support can be just as important as the reservation itself.

No. Vacations by Natashia is based near Richmond, Virginia, but I work with travelers throughout the United States. Most of the planning process can be completed virtually through consultations, email, phone, and secure online travel planning tools.
Whether you're nearby or across the country, you'll receive the same personalized planning and support.

Absolutely. Choosing a cruise involves much more than selecting an itinerary. Cruise lines and even individual ships within the same cruise line can offer very different experiences.
I help clients compare cruise lines, ships, cabin categories, itineraries, dining, entertainment, amenities and overall atmosphere based on who is traveling and what matters most to them. I can also help coordinate pre- or post-cruise hotels, transfers, excursions and other components of your vacation.
-
Yes. I help families, couples and multigenerational groups plan Disney Cruise Line vacations, including selecting the right ship, itinerary and stateroom for their needs.
I can also coordinate pre- and post-cruise accommodations, transportation and visits to Walt Disney World when clients want to create a larger Disney land-and-sea vacation. The goal is to make the experience easier to navigate while helping you choose the options that make the most sense for your family.

There isn't one cruise line that's best for every family. The right choice depends on your children's ages, budget, preferred activities, dining expectations, itinerary and the type of vacation you want.
For example, some families prioritize water parks and nonstop entertainment, while others want strong kids' programming paired with elevated dining and adult spaces. As a cruise travel advisor, I compare those differences and recommend ships and cruise lines based on your family's priorities rather than just recommending whichever cruise is cheapest.

Yes. Caribbean vacations and all-inclusive resorts are among my core planning specialties. I help clients compare destinations and resorts based on their travel style, budget, desired atmosphere, dining preferences, beach, amenities and the overall experience they're looking for.
Rather than recommending the same resort to everyone, I focus on finding the destination and property that best fits the individual traveler whether that's a romantic adults-only escape, family vacation, anniversary celebration or group getaway.
-
Yes. I can coordinate the many moving pieces involved in a group vacation, from accommodations and transportation to reservations, payments, activities and traveler communication.
I plan group travel for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, friends' getaways, family celebrations, cruises and other special occasions. Having one central point of contact helps keep the planning organized while allowing everyone in the group to enjoy the experience without one traveler becoming the unofficial travel coordinator.
-
Yes. I plan customized international vacations built around the traveler's interests, preferred pace, budget and travel style. Depending on the destination and trip, an itinerary may include accommodations, private or shared transportation, tours, cultural experiences, guides and other arrangements.
Customized travel is particularly valuable when you're visiting multiple destinations or want an experience that goes beyond a standard vacation package.
